THE LEADERSHIP COUNCIL

Members of the Leadership Council make the greatest impact on Lincoln’s fundraising success. Their bold investment inspires others while supporting every Lincoln student and teacher.

Leadership Council membership starts with an annual gift of $1,801 or more. Young alumni are invited to join at levels tailored to early careers. Spreading payments over several months may help when considering a larger gift.

Lincoln Academy transforms students from all walks of life into successful adults who go out into the world and make a difference in the communities they touch. It’s what many of us appreciate most about our Lincoln Academy.

Lincoln Academy supporters have provided leadership at every level to ensure that the school is a beacon of excellence for generations to come, and will continue to do so. We are now calling on parents, alumni, and friends to join the Building The Future initiative, a campaign to grow support of the Academy over the next four years. Gifts to the Lincoln Fund are meaningful and consequential gifts that support what needs to be funded today. And these immediate-use gifts are what help ensure Lincoln Academy’ success year after year after year.  We ask you to join Lincoln Academy Trustees, alumni, parents  and friends in providing leadership support for the Academy through this initiative.

Our Goal: Recruit 100 new members into the Leadership Society who will commit to giving $1,801 annually for the next four years.  This is, of course, in honor of our school’s founding.

Impact: Collectively, individuals who participate in Building The Future Campaign will provide approximately $180,000 annually in Lincoln Fund gifts. Over four years, they will provide over $700,000 in new and increased gifts to the Academy, helping to:

  • Provide faculty with resources needed to deliver the exceptional educational experiences and mentorships that distinguish Lincoln Academy from other secondary schools.
  • Provide support services for students to help them excel both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Compete with other independent schools to grow enrollment by recruiting bright and talented students from throughout the country and around the world.

Why Now: As we look forward towards the future, there is much to be excited about. Our Head of School’s passion and enthusiasm for Lincoln Academy is contagious and his strategic insights and dynamic leadership are strong. The Academy’s new plan offers ambitious goals and inspiring opportunities to transform the lives of Lincoln Academy students as well as the world in which we live. The Board is committed. The Head of School is committed. Faculty, staff, and students are committed. We need the commitment of alumni, parents, and friends if Lincoln Academy is to be successful in its pursuit of excellence and remain a place where learning and leadership, personal and intellectual growth, good citizenship, and a desire to succeed and make a difference in the world thrive.
