The Lincoln Academy 2014 Prom, from the perspective of the boarding students, was a complete success! Many students from different classes bought their tickets and got dressed to the nines, some of whom had never even been to a prom before!
Of course, there is a lot that goes into getting ready for the prom….
Or, learning how to tie your bow tie….
And, if you can’t do it…….ask for help!
Then there are the corsages and boutonnieres.
Once you are dressed and ready to go, it is time to pick up your date….
And you *hope* that they are ready too!
The residential students were graciously given the opportunity by the Headmaster to use his home for pictures, as it was a little rainy outside:
He even joined in some of them!
After photos, it was off to the Damariscotta River Grill downtown, by way of a Party Bus, for a wonderful dinner!
The appetizers at the prom were fantastic, as well! Take a look at this veggie shark….

The chaperones were pretty cool, too:
Nothing left to do but dance the night away!
