April 17, 2015 was a memorable day at Lincoln Academy. Senator Angus King and Maine Education Commissioner Tom Desjardin joined Lincoln Academy friends, trustees, staff, and students to celebrate the opening of the school’s incredible new buildings, the Cable-Burns Applied Technology and Engineering Center (ATEC) and the Residence Hall. Thanks to everyone who made this day possible, from the visionaries, to the funders, to the people who raised the beams and laid the floors, to the teachers and students who are now living and learning in the new buildings. Don Carrigan ’69 of WSCH Channel 6 News covered the event (see story here). It was a truly great day!
