LA sealLincoln Academy students will return to school before Labor Day this year. Ninth grade orientation will begin on Tuesday, August 30. Students should report to the LA gym at 7:50 am, and will be dismissed at 2:30 pm. The following day (Wednesday, August 31), upper class students will attend school in the morning (7:50-11:40), and ninth graders in the afternoon (3:00-5:00 pm). Parents of ninth graders are invited to a Parent Meeting at 5 pm.

Thursday, September 1 will be the first full day of school for all students. Regular school hours are 7:50 am-2:30 pm.

All Lincoln Academy students should register for school by August 15. Registration must be completed online via the AOS93/Lincoln Academy InfoSnap portal, which opens for 2016 registration on August 6. Parents will be invited to the InfoSnap portal via email by August 6. A registration help session will be offered on Sunday, August 14 from 1-4 in the Lincoln Academy ATEC building behind the gym. At this session families can complete registration forms with help from a member of the LA Innovation & Technology team. Families can bring their own device or use an LA computer to register.

Fall student athletes will need to submit a sports physical in addition to their InfoSnap registration by August 15 in order to participate in pre-season practices, which begin that day. The School-Based Health Center will be offering sports physicals on the LA campus from 12-3 PM on Friday, August 5. Lincoln Academy families should note the new Lincoln Academy student computing policy, which is replacing the school-issued device model with a Bring-Your-Own-Device model, effective this fall. Beginning in September 2016 all Lincoln Academy students will be required to bring a device (laptop or tablet) to school every day. Chromebooks are the recommended device for student who plan to purchase a device this summer, as they offer high functionality at an affordable price of around $150.
