Students in Lincoln Academy’s LACFO club presented a check to Coastal Kids preschool in September 2016. LACFO is soliciting applications for local nonprofit organizations who are interested in being one of next year’s charitable beneficiaries. Applications are due April 30, 2017.

The Lincoln Area Community Fundraising Organization (LACFO) is now opening up the application process to raise funds for seven charitable organizations that are based in, and serve Lincoln County. Funds will be distributed during the 2017-2018 school year.

LACFO is a student run club based at Lincoln Academy that has the goal of supporting local charities to continue the great work that they do. All charitable organizations in Lincoln County are encouraged to apply. Grants will be distributed in May of 2018. Dollar amounts will depend on the success of student fundraising at Lincoln Academy.

Interested organizations need to complete a nine question application to be eligible for LACFO funds. A link to the application can be found on either the Lincoln Area Community Fundraising Organization’s Facebook page, or a direct link can be requested by sending an email to lincolnacademycfo@gmail.com. All applications are due April 30, and the seven charities chosen will be notified by Friday, May 5th.
