On Wednesday, April 26 at 4:00 pm in the Kiah Bayley Hall dormitory common room on the LA campus, the Lincoln Academy Business Club will host their second “Business Talk” event. The public is invited to a panel discussion of experienced Maine entrepreneurs who will talk about their business experience, and how to continually improve businesses through entrepreneurship.
The Business Talk panel speakers are: Topher Mallory, CEO of Mexicali Blues, and co-founder of Split Rock Distillery; Bill Card, a Small Business Association Economic Development Specialist; Sara Rademaker, owner of American Unagi; and Chris MacKenzie of STARC Systems. Each speaker will have an opportunity to speak for 15 minutes and reply to questions during the panel discussion.
“The Business Talk event is a great opportunity for changing your vision and gaining insightful information about the world of business,” said Asset Alibekov, a Lincoln Academy junior from Kazakhstan who is the founder of the LA Business Club, which focuses on improving the local business eco-system.
“Speakers will talk about future trends, marketing strategies, selling experience, and challenges that they faced during their journey to success. If you are interested gaining information about marketing, sales, branding, essential skills of business and to connect with local entrepreneurs of Mid Coast Maine, it is a perfect opportunity for you!”
