The new John Bowers Baseball field at Lincoln Academy will be dedicated on May 26 at 4 pm, immediately preceding the varsity baseball game against Medomak. Spectators are invited to share in a short dedication ceremony honoring the late John Bowers, and then stay to watch the varsity game.

Head of School David Sturdevant will be one of the speakers at the dedication. “Lincoln Academy is fortunate to have generous alumni, who see a need and come forward to make projects like this incredible new baseball field happen!” he commented. “We believe that this facility is among the best in the state, and it will serve our students and community well for many years to come.”

“Once again, the Lincoln Academy community is the beneficiary of extraordinary philanthropic support,” said Lincoln Academy’s Associate Head for External Affairs Matt Goetting. “We are grateful to have so many recognize the very special role our school plays in our region and who are willing to invest in its growth. Bowers Field is a beautiful tribute to an alumnus who was an instrumental part of the school’s forward movement.”
