Andrew Mai’s image of Kiah Bailey Hall as seen on a cell phone screen won the Campus category and was selected as the overall winner in the LA spring photo contest.

The Lincoln Academy Yearbook staff and Photo Club combined forces to organize a spring photo contest for the LA community.

Students and teachers submitted photos in six categories: architecture, nature, people, campus, student life, and sports. More than 160 photos were submitted, and each was judged anonymously by 19 students based on a 20 point rubric.

LA junior Andrew Mai won in three categories: sports, people, and campus, and his campus photo was chosen as the overall winner. Sophomore Aidan Stearns won the architecture category, junior Paige Camp won the nature category, and Levi McAtee won the Campus Life category.

The photos will be featured on the LA website and in the upcoming Lincoln Academy Yearbook Spring Supplement.
