At the conclusion of last weekend, we marked a very special event in residential life, the successful completion of the 6th annual Community Cares Weekend! Each of our resident students participated in a volunteer service project in support of our local community.  Seven different groups partnered with Lincoln County organizations to help prepare school playgrounds, paint buildings needing a facelift and support home improvement projects for low-income families.  It was a HUGE effort, but one that made a tremendous difference in the lives of many.  Your students did some amazing things!
As we look to the weeks ahead, our students will be learning about upcoming school vacation offerings as well as immersing deeper into their academic studies. Next week we enter into a very famous American high school tradition, Homecoming.
There are three school vacations this year in December, February and April when our dormitories will be closed.  If you have not already made plans for your student during these upcoming breaks, click here to learn about programs offered by the school.  Please speak to your son or daughter about this in the days to come.  Space is limited and signups have already begun.
