Monday marked the kickoff to an annual tradition at American high schools, HOMECOMING. Homecoming is a tradition rooted in growing school spirit and celebrating the many proud accomplishments of the school, students, and staff. Many alumni often return to the weekend events to celebrate and participate in the viewing of athletic competitions.
This year, the chosen theme of the Lincoln Academy Homecoming is “Harry Potter and the Order of the Eagles.” It works as the LA school mascot is the eagle. Last weekend the different grades decorated the school in Harry Potter theme, there are fun dress up days all week long, and the upcoming weekend is fully packed with exciting events, including a parade through town to the school, a barbecue, a bonfire, school dance, and every school sport has a competition on campus!! Please talk to your son or daughter about the LA Homecoming Tradition to learn more!
