On Friday, March 1, the Lincoln Academy Boys’ Cross Country Team was presented with their KVAC Championship and State Runner-Up Banners that will hang in the LA Gym. In the fall of 2018 the team won their third consecutive KVAC championship as well as coming in second by six points to York high School at the State Cross Country Meet. Cross Country and Outdoor Track coach Garrett Martin spoke to the gathered students and staff, noting the many accomplishments of students in the gym, including other recent championships won by the track, tennis, lacrosse, One Acts, debate, and math teams, among others, and reminding gathered LA students that “there is excellence all around us.”
