It’s been a lovely week here on the Maine coast and it feels like students are settling into a good academic rhythm, getting comfortable with new courses and enjoying their time with friends both in and out of class.  The Resident Life program has students on the soccer, cross-country and math teams this fall and they are building strong team relationships.  We took a large group of students to witness the full harvest moon rise over the ocean at Pemaquid Point this weekend and celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival with moon cakes.  As we move into the fall season, we’re looking forward to sharing more special Maine autumn activities like picking apples, pumpkin decorating, and enjoying the leaves changing to vibrant shades of orange, red, and yellow.
