Following the holiday weekend lobster bake and excursions, our focus this week has shifted to service and all residential students have taken part in one or more volunteer projects in support of local community organizations. Projects included building insulating window inserts with Community Housing Improvement Project (CHIP),
trail work with on Monhegan Island,
and maintenance work at an area elementary school playground. Our students were generous with their time, learned new skills, and embraced working together. This is a tremendous group of caring and compassionate young people and we are very proud of their efforts to get involved and give back to our greater community.
