The Lincoln Academy and Darling Marine Center Project Share Day will take place in LA’s Cable Burns Applied Technology and Engineering Center.

Students in Lincoln Academy’s ATEC lab and the University of Maine’s Darling Marine Center will collaborate on their first Project Share Day on Monday, November 4 from 2-4pm in the ATEC building on the Lincoln Academy campus.

This event will give Darling’s undergraduate research students the opportunity to present their current projects to an audience of LA students and faculty, and gather feedback and ideas from the LA community. Additionally, LA students will share their independent projects with the Darling students. The public is invited to attend and view projects underway at both Darling and LA and speak to students about their plans to complete and expand their projects.

Current student LA projects that will be showcased include: stop-motion animation and puppetry, building a drone for remote monitoring on the Damariscotta River, restoring a 1986 Chevy truck, and student metal and wood projects. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be provided.
