Autumn is especially beauitful here on the Maine coast – the air turns crisp, bright blue skies are reflected in the sea and the forests transform from lush summer green to orange, red and gold.  This past week Resident Life students have enjoyed seasonal activities including apple picking, baking, camp fires and a trip to visit Maine’s largest city, Portland.

This coming weekend is Pumpkinfest, an annual celebration that draws thousands of visitors to our town.  There is a pumpkin parade, giant decorated pumpkins are on display throughout the community and there is even a pumpkin boat regatta!  Our students will be taking part in the festivities and volunteering with children’s events.
