Stormy weather kept students inside the dorms on Halloween night, but they didn’t hold back from silly games and room-to-room trick-or-treating.  After the storm, students ventured out for weekend activities including a trip to the historic seaside village of Bath, roller skating in Portland, and swimming at the Boothbay YMCA.

December Vacation is just over a month away and the dorms will be CLOSED from December 21-January 5.  We are working hard to collect student travel plans and need your help. Will your student be traveling home, visiting friends, or taking part in a special program?  Please submit plans for the December, February and April Vacations through Boardingware as soon as possible.  We count on families to provide this information in a timely fasion so we can ensure all students have the support they need to get to their destinations.

Lincoln Academy’s Dormitories will be closed for three school vacations this year:

  • December Break:  December 21 – January 5, 2020
  • February Break:  February 15 – February 23, 2020
  • April Break:  April 18 – April 26, 2020

Vacation Programs:  There is limited space available for students to take part in vacation programs during the December, February and April breaks including a travel to France and Vacation Camps with our partner Kieve/Wavus.  Register now:  Lincoln Academy Vacation Programs

Thanksgiving Break:  There will be no classes November 25 – 29 for the Thanksgiving holiday, however the dorms will remain open.  Resident Life organizes special activities for students who remain on campus including a holiday dinner at Camp Kieve, an opportunity to enjoy Maine Thanksgiving traditions with a local host family, and quintessential Black Friday shopping trip. If your student will be traveling for this school vacation, please submit their travel plans via Boardingware.  Contact the Resident Life Office with any questions.
