The Wreaths Across America Convoy, consisting of 60 vehicles and more than 150 volunteers, made a stop at LA on Sunday, December 8.

We were incredibly honored to have the Wreaths Across America Convoy stop at Lincoln Academy on December 8, giving Lincoln Academy and our entire community the opportunity to thank the veterans and Gold Star Families who serve our nation. We could not have made this event a success without the support of people and organizations across Lincoln County. Special thanks goes out to Don Carrigan of News Center Maine and the LA Class of ‘69, our Master of Ceremonies, Chris and Morgan Perry and the Bristol School Air Devils, Fay Cain and the Midcoast Dance Renys Rockets, the Y- Arts program, Emily Anderson and the LA Lincolnaires, Reny’s, Hannaford, Old Time Donuts, Atlantic Tent Company, Wayne and Pat Johnston, Kristie Houghton, Mary Hanna, and the GSB second graders, Bruce Poland and the American Legion of Damariscotta, the Patriot Guard Riders of Maine – Chapter 2, the Lincoln County Emergency Management Agency, the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Lincoln County First Responders including the Central Lincoln County Ambulance, Damariscotta Police Department, and fire departments including Bristol, South Bristol, Edgecomb, Dresden, Alna, Boothbay, Bremen, Jefferson, Wiscasset, Damariscotta, and Taniscot Fire Company of Newcastle. We are so grateful for the many people who came to the event to help us Remember, Honor, and Teach alongside the Wreaths Across America volunteers.
