It’s cold outside, but that isn’t keeping Residential students from staying active. This past weekend, Residential Life students in our proctor leadership group organized “Sports Olympics.” Co-ed teams competed in activities such as races, arm wrestling, and indoor soccer. We also have a number of students going out for athletic teams this spring. We encourage all of our students to try a spring sport this year, but they must sign-up soon! Baseball practice starts March 23 and all other teams begain practice March 30. Travel Restrictions Please be advised that Residential students are discouraged from any international travel over the upcoming April Vacation. Dormitories will be closed from April 18-26, 2020 and families need to be working with their student to make plans for the break. There is still time to register for Spring Camp at Kieve-Wavus , arrange a homestay with a local family, or students may travel independently within the United States. Vacation plans are due no later than April 4th. Lincoln Academy’s statement on Corvid 19 can be found here: https://www.lincolnacademy.org/2020/03/lincoln-academy-statement-on-covid-19/
Second Trimester ends on March 13th. Please check-in with your student about their course work and academic goals as they enter the final grading period of the year. You should receive your student’s second trimester grade report before the end of March.
