Lincoln Academy announced this week that virtual learning will continue through the end of the school year. While we all wish we were back in our usual classrooms, students and teachers are able to continue their academic work through Canvas and there are creative discussions happening around how we can preserve traditions and end of year ceremonies while remaining in our homes. School administrators will be looking for students to take leading roles in some of these virtual events in the weeks ahead and we welcome your input and ideas!
As ever, please don’t hesitate to reach out for extra support with academics or with any questions, feedback, or concerns as we navigate the remainder of the school year together. Your teachers and the Resident Life staff are here for you.

Trimester 2 Grades
We are aware that families are currently unable to see final T2 grades in PowerSchool. While grades have been finalized, we are trying to correct for a program glitch that is showing classes that students have withdrawn from on report cards. We expect to have this problem corrected by early next week and final T2 grades will be visible then.
We appreciate your patience in this matter. If you have concerns about T2 grades, please know that the T2 grade you see in Canvas should be an accurate final trimester grade. You can also contact teachers with specific T2 grade questions. We will send out an announcement when final T2 grades are visible.
A Message from School Social Workers Lisa Katz & Tory Wright
We want to remind families to reach out for support around concerns you have for your children’s emotional health. Anxiety is running high without predictable routines, which makes it hard for their brains to focus on school work. Giving each other physical space, patience, and flexibility will help to keep things peaceful at home. And the more peaceful home is, the better everyone will function! Attached is a LONG list of tips for mental health wellness during quarantine and there are a lot of great ideas. We’ve also attached a link for a lovely 6 minute video about gratitude, which is an important positive force to balance the worries. It’s really relaxing to watch.
We hope you are enjoying the daily “mindfulness moments” and are finding some useful tools there.
