Residential Life Update – November 8, 2020

2020-11-08T22:00:39-05:00November 8, 2020|

We’ve had another beautiful fall week here in Maine with temperatures climbing back into the 60’s this weekend, reminding us all to enjoy this season before we head into the coldest part of the year.

With just two weeks remaining in the first trimester, students are focused on completing course work before the end of the grading period.  All assignment due dates are posted in Canvas and students should be in touch with their teachers if there are any questions:   Click Here for LA Faculty and Staff Directory.

We are looking ahead to Thanksgiving Break, November 21-29.  Students will have a one-week break from classes and enjoy a number of scheduled activities including hikes, shopping, games, and a traditional Thanksgiving holiday feast hosted at Camp Kieve on Damariscotta Lake.  This will be a welcome opportunity for staff and students to unplug and rest after a busy first trimester.

Don’t forget to let us know about any plans for December Break.  Travel is restricted and all plans must be submitted to the Residential Life Office by November 20 for review and approval.  After this date, we will plan for the student to remain on campus.

Best regards,

Jake Abbott
