We’ve had our first real snow of the season! After a wet stormy afternoon and evening, temperatures dipped and we awoke this morning to a few inches of frosty white covering campus. Students enjoyed sledding and even built a small snowman. Looking forward to much more winter fun ahead!
The decision was made on Friday to continue with virtual classes until after the winter vacation. Classes will operate on the exact same schedule we used during hybrid learning and all student assignments will be submitted through Canvas. “Students are encouraged to think of this period of remote learning as a ‘pause’ of in-person school,” shares Kelley Duffy, Director of Curriculum and Instruction. “It is a mini-unit in the trimester, but we intend to return to in-person learning following the holidays.” As ever, please be in touch with any questions or concerns.
Hope you enjoy a few photos from recent events including Residential Life Formal Dinner, volunteering to fill donation boxes for local food pantry recipients, pottery night, and playing in the snow. Students are reminded to check out updated offerings for student clubs and organizations at the following link. Most of these clubs will only be meeting virtually over the next few weeks.
