Residential Life Update – June 6, 2021

2021-06-06T22:40:18-04:00June 6, 2021|

With this last Resident Life Newsletter of the school year, we want to send out our heartfelt congratulations to the Class of 2021!  We also send our thanks to all of the senior parents for their support and trust this year.  Beautiful baccalaureate and graduation ceremonies took place this week and photos of the graduation and other Senior Week events can be viewed on the Lincoln Academy Flickr, YouTube and Facebook.

The last day of school for undergraduates is Thursday, June 10.  Final grade reports for the year will be sent via email before the end of the month.

You may continue to receive periodic updates from Lincoln Academy over the summer months and we look forward to welcoming students back for the 2021/2022 school year.

Be well, stay in touch, and enjoy your summer!

Honor Lincoln Academy with a Gift

If you would like to make a gift to the school in honor of the work of a favorite teacher, dorm parent, or staff member, please consider giving to the 2020-2021 Lincoln Academy Annual Fund. Contributions made to the Annual Fund support Lincoln Academy’s wide range of programming including arts, science, math and extra-curricular activities. Donations may be made online, via wire or by contacting Lori Wright in our Business Office at

Important Reminders

I20 and Visa Questions: Please be in touch with Hilary Petersen if you have any questions about your I20 or student visa.

Checkout and Room Inspections:  Dorm rooms will be inspected before you depart campus.  Ensure that you leave your room as you found it at the start of the school year and report any issues to the Res Life office now.  Your student account will be charged for any damages.

Student Accounts: Any balance in your emergency account will be refunded once you have completed end-of-year room inspections and returned school materials.  Please let the Office of Residential Life know where to send your balance.

Shipping and Storage:  If you plan to ship items home, packing and mailing options are available through Mail It 4 You located near campus in Newcastle.  For returning students, there is limited storage space for personal belongings on campus.  We encourage students to take care of their shipping and storage needs well in advance of their departure.  Shipping large boxes can be very expensive. Consolidate and pack carefully!
