SENIORS: Senior Meetings with School Counselors
Mrs. Abbott and Mrs. Blodgett are scheduling senior meetings with school counselors during study halls. Senior meetings are important as they help plan for life after high school whether it is college, the military, or employment. Seniors will receive an invitation to an IN PERSON meeting through their LA email. Seniors should check their LA email account often for their meeting invitation. Our Career and Academic Counseling Office thanks the Class of 2022 for their patience while we schedule 135 senior meetings.
SENIORS: Fill out the LA Class of 2022 Future Plans Survey
Check your LA email and fill out your Senior Survey! This survey is a critical first step in planning your future! Thank you to 50% of the Class of 2022 for completing the survey!
SENIORS: Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is available October 1st!
For help filing the FAFSA, the Finance Authority of Maine (FAME) is an excellent resource. Click on the links below for filing instructions and links, virtual help sessions, scheduling a one-on-one meeting with a FAME representative, and the link to FAME’s scholarship search site.

JUNIORS: Juniors Signed Up for the October 13th PSAT at Lincoln Academy
On Wednesday, October 13th, LA will administer the PSAT/NMSQT to interested juniors. Juniors thinking about attending a four-year college or university are advised to take the PSAT, but it is NOT mandatory. Through their advisors the past two weeks, Juniors signed up for the PSAT. Please ask your student about this test. If your student does not remember or is uncertain, email Ms. Gleason at firstname.lastname@example.org. Juniors not taking the PSAT must attend their regular Wednesday classes. There is no make-up day for the PSAT and juniors must arrive by 7:45am with dismissal around 11:30am.
Student AP Exam Registration
Sign up for AP Exams will occur during the first trimester in each AP class. AP Instructors will be sharing more details with students in the coming weeks.
