Boosters, Homecoming, and Fall Fun

Over the past week, the temperature began to drop ever so slightly making things feel like the autumn season is just around the corner.  We began celebrating the start of the fall season with apple picking, cozy fires, and hikes.

Today is the first day of Homecoming celebrations including athletic and class competitions, races, a parade with our teams and musicians, a dance, and dress-up days (today is tacky tourist day!).  This year’s Homecoming theme is 70’s Disco and students, staff and alumni will be coming together to show their Eagle Pride at events all week.  Full schedule here:

Also, we are pleased to announce that omicron boosters will be administered to all residential students and dorm parents this week.  These boosters are another part of our strategy to keep our community healthy.  Please communicate directly with Jake Abbott if you have any questions.

Finally, as we look to the future for students intending to make a US college or university their next stop we are making plans for college visits.  School counselor Jose Cordero will be meeting with 11th and 12th graders after the community meeting on Wednesday, September 21st to invite interested students to participate.

As always, please be in touch with any questions or concerns.
