Basketball Camp

Youth Summer Basketball

JUNE 27 – July 8 (no camp on July 4)

  • Grades 2 -4: 8 am-9:30 am

  • Grades 5 -7: 9:30-11 am

  • Grades 8 -9: 11 am – 12:30 pm

Join us for a fun week of building basketball skills!  Work with expert coaches and members of our LA basketball program to learn new techniques.

Coaches Ball, Feltis, and Page have been involved in summer basketball programs at LA for many years and bring fun and passion to the game.  Players will be instructed in both individual skills and team play.  All skills levels are welcomed at the camps and players can sign up for just one week or for multiple weeks.

JULY 11-15, 9am-12pm

Work with expert coaches, talented members of our LA soccer program, and special guests to learn new techniques. Build your skills through small-sided matches and games to become a great soccer player!

Middle School Soccer

AUGUST 17-19 (Wednesday – Friday), 6 – 7:30pm

Join us for this three-day camp that will help you improve your individual skills and your understanding of the tactical aspects of team play.  Working with Coach Ober, LA’s head girls soccer coach, and some of her varsity players at this camp is a great way to prepare for your upcoming season!  This is a co-ed camp and all interested players regardless of skill level are encouraged to attend.

High School Girls Soccer

JULY 25-29, 7pm-9pm

Summer is a great time to improve your soccer skills for the upcoming season.  Join LA’s coaching staff to improve your skills through individualized drills and small sided matches.  

For girls entering grades 9-12.

Registrations are no longer being accepted.  There is no waiting list or on-site registration. Thank you.

Jeff Burroughs

Jeff Burroughs’ career has spanned more than 30 years at many levels of play. Coach Burroughs was most recently head women’s coach at St Johnsbury Academy in St Johnsbury Vermont. Jeff was named Vermont Girls Soccer Coach of the year in 2017 and holds his National, Advanced National, and Premier Diplomas from United Soccer Coaches of America.

Steve Levesque

Steve Levesque is the Boys’ Varsity Soccer Coach at Saint Johnsbury Academy. During his tenure at the Academy, Coach Levesque has built the soccer program into one of the premier programs in the state. Stephen coaches for Capital SC and in the summer, he directs the Hilltopper Soccer Camp. He holds the National and Advanced National diplomas from United Soccer Coaches of America.

Lauren Ober

Coach Ober has many years of experience coaching soccer at multiple levels from youth through high school. She is the current head coach of the Lincoln Academy girls varsity team and brings a passion and commitment to helping her athletes test their limits, realize their potential, and improve their overall game.

Lacrosse Clinics

Girls Lacrosse Clinic

AUGUST 1 and AUGUST 2

This two-day clinic for both youth and high school aged players is a tremendous opportunity to work with Jen Kent, one of the coaches of the Boston College women’s lacrosse, the 2021 Division I NCAA National Champions! The clinic will enhance your individual skills and your understanding of the game while receiving instruction from one of the top collegiate coaches in the country.  All skill levels are welcomed!

YOUTH CLINIC: 4-5:30 pm

For girls ages 8-12.

Jennifer Kent

Jennifer Kent joins LA for this summer’s special Girls Lacrosse Clinic from Boston College where she has been the Assistant Coach for 14 years. Coach Kent focuses her attention on the defensive end but also plays a crucial role in individual development.

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Programs

Coding Camp

JULY 25-29, 9am-12pm

We live in a digital age where almost everything around us uses computer codes to run. Coding is now an essential skill and the best way to learn is through fun and games. Join us at LA this summer to explore the basics of computer coding. Participants will create animations and simple games while developing real world STEM skills.

For boys and girls ages 9-12.

Program Fee: $100

Robotics Camp

JULY 25-29, 12:30-3:30 pm

If you’re looking for a hands-on experience this summer that will increase your skills and knowledge about robotics, this is the camp for you! If you are new to robotics or are looking to build on your experience, our instructors will provide the necessary support and guidance while you work on different activities that will improve your critical thinking and problem solving skills.

For boys and girls ages 9-12.

Program Fee: $120

Prema Long 

Prema Long is a Lincoln Academy science teacher who enjoys writing computer code in her spare time. She has spent time training with Code.org and the University of Oregon, with an emphasis on exploring computer languages and computational thinking. Prema has taught high school computer science courses and has dabbled in robotics, and enjoys introducing and supporting students in their own exploration of STEM-related topics.

Amy Palmer

Amy Palmer is the STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) teacher at Saint George School in Tenants Harbor, where she teaches kindergarten through 8th graders.  She utilizes Code.org, Spheros, and Lego EV3 systems to teach computational thinking to 3rd-8th graders.  She likes to get students to observe patterns in code (and in art and nature) and then challenge them to think creatively to solve engineering problems.

Campers wishing to sign up for both the Coding Camp and the Robotics Camp are invited to bring lunch and enjoy the LA campus from 12:00 to 12:30. Supervision will be provided.
