Over 40 LA students showed up to play corn hole at the First Annual Best Buddies Cornhole Tournament on May 16, 2023

Lincoln Academy Best Buddies, a program that brings together students with and without intellectual disabilities, hosted a cornhole tournament on May 16, and invited any LA student to join the fun. Over 40 students signed up, and a good time was had by all.

Life Skills teacher Kelcey Cheska, who helped organize the event, “This was a great event–we will definitely do it again. It was a great way to unify the school.”

Student Harper Libby said “this is so much fun,” as she helped check students in for the tournament.

Sophomore Sean Cushing said, “the prizes were awesome, despite the fact that I didn’t win one of them!”
