Over 40 LA students showed up to play corn hole at the First Annual Best Buddies Cornhole Tournament on May 16, 2023

Lincoln Academy Best Buddies, a program that brings together students with and without intellectual disabilities, hosted a cornhole tournament on May 16, and invited any LA student to join the fun. Over 40 students signed up, and a good time was had by all.

Life Skills teacher Kelcey Cheska, who helped organize the event, ā€œThis was a great event–we will definitely do it again. It was a great way to unify the school.ā€

Student Harper Libby said ā€œthis is so much fun,ā€ as she helped check students in for the tournament.

Sophomore Sean Cushing said, ā€œthe prizes were awesome, despite the fact that I didn’t win one of them!ā€
