Senior Week

This week is a celebration of the class of 2023, culminating in graduation on Friday.  It is a special time with lots of fun to be had.  It is also a time full of emotions as we work through the process of saying goodbye and looking ahead to the future.  Underclassmen have this week to wrap up their classes and then finals the week after graduation.

We hope that visiting senior families have all received an invitation to the Residential Life Reception Brunch at 10:30 am on June 2nd as well as all of the other exciting Senior Week Events.  More details here.  Graduation will also be live-streamed at the following link: https://lctv.org/

Thank you to the students and families who have contributed to the https://www.lincolnacademy.org/support/annualfund/  There is still time to give in honor of a favorite teacher, program, or dorm parent by making a donation in their name.  Thank you for your support!

Congratulations to the Class of 2023 and all of our students as we close out this memorable school year.  We are so proud of you and look forward to following your next adventures.

With much gratitude for our year together,

End-of-Year Details

Closing the dorm and moving students out is a complex process.  Along with departure dates (seniors are expected to be out of the dorm by the end of the day on Saturday, June 3rd, and underclassmen the following week, on Friday, June 9, 2023) we also include the process of packing and cleaning rooms, sorting items no longer wanted, supporting shipping of items that won’t fit in suitcases, and ensuring that records, medications, and other belongings are accounted for.  Please work with your son/daughter to ensure that they understand the need to be organized and efficient as we work to complete these important tasks.

For students returning to LA next year, we offer the service of summer storage of items on campus.  Things must be boxed and well-labeled.  For anyone not returning, all personal belongings must be packed, disposed of, or shipped prior to leaving campus.  End-of-year departure plans are now due in Orah.

Graduation is Friday, June 2.  You can view a full list of end-of-year events at the link below.  Please be in touch if you are making travel plans and have any questions: https://www.lincolnacademy.org/campus-and-community/graduation-events/
