LA musicians will perform at a “Java and Jams” coffeehouse fundraiser on Thursday, November 16 at 7 pm in Poe Theater. Donations support the choir and band trip to New York City in the spring of 2025.
The coffee house will include solo and small group performances by LA students.
“Students put Java and Jams together last February, and it was a big success, both in the quality of performances and as a fundraiser for our performing arts trip to New York,” said LA Choir Director Emily Anderson. “This year we have a lot of student interest in performing, so we are planning two events, and the first one is November 16.”
The public is invited to attend. No reservations are necessary. Donations are encouraged, both at the door or through this online giving portal on the LA website.
