Temperatures are dropping, snow has fallen, and ResLife is as busy as ever!

Cold weather and snow have given our ResLife students plenty of opportunities to enjoy all that a Maine winter has to offer!   Students enjoyed their first school-delay, a result of Sunday night’s snowfall.  Classes started at 10am on Monday morning, allowing road crews time to clear the snow and make transportation safer for us all.  Several students started the day off with making a snowman, complete with glasses and buttons!  A snowball fight after school really rounded out the day.  Ice skating, holiday shopping trips, winter concerts and a ski trip made for a lively weekend.

First Trimester report cards went out this past week.  If you did not receive that report card, please contact Ms. Tan.  If you have questions or concerns about grades and performance, please contact your student’s teachers directly.

We have just a few weeks until our December holiday break and a two-week dorm closure.  Thank you for submitting your vacation plans into Orah.  Please be thinking ahead about student plans for the remainder of the school year.  Our next break is in February.  The dorms will be closed from February 17-25, but we are happy to offer a February Break Camp at Kieve-Wavus.  Please go to the Residential Life Vacation Programming website to register your student and make a deposit.  Again, please submit alternate plans for the February Vacation into Orah by January 12, 2024.

Lincoln Academy has been highlighting the experiences of our international students. Please check out the most recent Facebook posts about Eren, Delane, Margaret and Violet!

Be well and take care,
