Lincoln Academy: There’s a Place for You.

Students choose Lincoln Academy for a variety of reasons: our commitment to community, global vision, and breadth of opportunities are some of what we are most proud of. At Lincoln Academy, we have students that come from a wide range of backgrounds and that share their diverse interests with our school community. We are so glad that you are visiting our admissions page and hope that you will come for a campus visit, fill out our inquiry form, or simply explore the rest of the site to discover what makes Lincoln Academy so special.

Lincoln Academy enrolls both day students and boarding students to create our community of 580 learners. This mix of students will encourage you to consider backgrounds and perspectives that might be new to you, thus opening your mind to a whole world of possibility!

Day students come from over 15 towns in the Midcoast of Maine. Many towns have school choice. If your town has school choice, you might be able to attend Lincoln Academy at no cost to your family. If your town does not have school choice, you are still able to apply to enroll at Lincoln Academy.

Boarding students come from over 20 countries across the world. Boarding students pay tuition, though financial aid and scholarships are available. Our boarding students enjoy living together on campus at Kiah Bayley Hall. Our residential life program offers a family-like atmosphere in a modern dormitory. Students live in double rooms (have one roommate) and benefit from the supervision and care from six experienced dorm families. Our boarding students love the variety of weekend activities that they get to do and the ability to hang out together in the dorm common area and full kitchen.

What I really like about Lincoln Academy is how close and tight-knit the community is. I have this connection with different people that I didn’t have back home.
