In addition to approximately 500 day students from Mid-coast Maine, Lincoln Academy is home to 70 boarding students this year. These students come from across the US and around the globe, representing 17 countries. It can be hard to attend school far from your family, especially around the holidays and we embrace opportunities for our students to celebrate and share their home traditions with our community here at LA. Whether it’s making dumplings and lighting fireworks for Lunar New Year, sharing a meal for Persian Newroz or teaching children clapping games from Burundi we love getting a chance to share in these celebrations from around the world.
