Andrew Jonash graduated from Lewis and Clark college in 2019 with a major in biology and a minor in sculpture. He has worked as a welder for a metal sculptor in Portland, Oregon, in aquaculture on a kelp and oyster farm on the Damariscotta river, as well as scuba diver and project manager for an environmental project focusing on ghost gear removal in Boothbay Harbor. He has been an assistant coach on the winter and spring track teams. He enjoys playing ultimate frisbee and has a jack russell chihuahua named Tugboat.

BA, Lewis and Clark College. Bachelor of Arts In Biology, Minor in Studio Art

Laura Phelps joins LA after 15 years as an elementary librarian in RSU1.  Prior to that she was a public librarian in Vermont and a high school teacher in Romania.  Laura is a National Board Certified Teacher and the 2019 Walter J. Taranko Maine School Librarian of the Year.  She practices yoga daily, loves the Red Sox and travels near and far as frequently as possible.  Laura lives in Wiscasset with her husband Iain and their two cats, Benny and Beatrix.
