How to return library books:

Please use this link to sign up for a time to return your library books.  We HUGELY appreciate you helping us maintain the library collection by getting your books back in June, if possible.  Feel free to email Ms. Phelps with questions or to make alternative arrangements.

The library has TONS of online resources for you during our closure. Please visit the Research Resources  and the Resources During Closure pages for links and contact Ms. Phelps if you have any questions.

Books and Brunch – POSTPONED

We hope to reschedule this event when we are back in school.

Please join us in the LA Library on March 25th to discuss Illegal by Eoin Colfer and Andrew Donkin. We will be joined by Baba Ly, Assistant Director of Refugee and Immigration Services of Catholic Charities Maine.

Laura Phelps

Laura Phelps joins LA after 15 years as an elementary librarian in RSU1.  Prior to that she was a public librarian in Vermont and HS teacher in Romania.  Laura is a National Board Certified Teacher and the 2019 Walter J. Taranko Maine School Librarian of the Year.  She received her BA in History from Haverford College and has an MS in Library and Information Science from Simmons University.  Laura lives in Wiscasset with her husband Iain and two cats Benny and Beatrix.
