Jake Abbott, Dean of Students and Director of Residential Life
Lincoln Academy and the Office of Residential Life have made plans to reopen on-campus living in preparation for the 2020 – 2021 school year. To meet the State of Maine health and safety requirements, we will facilitate a return to campus in small scheduled groups, requiring that each student participates in a 14-day quarantine period on campus before re-entering into routine dorm living. As this process will take extra time to return our students to regular campus life, we are planning to begin scheduling student arrivals on campus starting around July 11 and continuing through the fall of 2020. Travel arrangements and arrival dates will require coordination with the Office of Residential Life as they will be staggered and limited in number.
Clearly, there are many challenges associated with international travel at this time and we expect to be working with individual families to support their needs and government mandated timelines as much as possible. We will host multiple Zoom conversations with the Lincoln Academy team to discuss this process and answer your questions. Each meeting is limited to 10 families and signup links are below. In this meeting, we ask that at least one parent and the student join to participate.
Please choose one meeting from the three options below:
Please click on the meeting link above to signup for a time that works best for you. Please be aware that once a meeting has reached the 10-person capacity, the signup will be closed and you will need to select a different meeting time. Questions may be sent in advance to Jake Abbott, Dean of Students Director of Residential Life if that is helpful.
Thank you so very much,
Jake Abbott and the Residential Life Team
