We’re seeking self-motivated team players with “can do” attitudes, who will ask questions, and take pride in their work. Having a basic knowledge of boats is a plus, but not necessary.
Successful candidates must work well with others, work safely and efficiently, and provide quality service to our boating clients. You must be comfortable lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, engaging in physical labor for extended periods of time, working from a kneeling position, and working outside. **You must be at least 16 years old.**
Work may include but is not limited to: Prepping and painting boat bottoms, Launching boats, Cleaning, buffing, and polishing boats

Boatyard Service Technician – Full-Time, Year-Round
Padebco Full-Service Boatyard & Custom Boat Builders seeks a general laborer to join our crew. We’re seeking self-motivated team players with “can do” attitudes, who will ask questions, take pride in their work, and want to advance by learning new skills. You must have a strong work ethic, be dependable, be able to multi-task and have a basic knowledge of boats. Experience is a plus, but we will train promising candidates.
Successful candidates must work well with others, be detail-oriented, work safely and efficiently, and provide quality service to our boating clients. You must be comfortable lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, engaging in heavy physical labor for extended periods of time, working from a kneeling position, and wearing a respirator. Conditions of employment include; background check, valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean record, COVID vaccination preferred, and authorization to work in the United States.
Work may include but is not limited to: Winterizing and commissioning outboards, engines, and systems, Prepping and painting boat bottoms, Hauling and launching boats, Prepping boats for storage and launching, Cleaning, buffing, and polishing boats
Experience or skills in one or more of the following a plus: Outboard, small engine, and/or diesel engine repair and maintenance, Carpentry, Fiberglass, Electrical, Plumbing, Paint, varnish / brightwork, Previous experience in a boatyard
This is a full-time, year-round position in a fast-paced yard; you must be able to work with minimal supervision with a like-minded crew. We offer competitive pay based on experience, benefits, retirement, paid vacation, and holiday pay.

Masters Machine Company – Part time Sorter/Packer Position
POSITION DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cleans, deburrs, polishes, or grinds parts using hand tools or powered equipment, performing and combination of following tasks: scrapes or rubs parts with a file, wire brush or buffing cloth.
- Holds part against buffing or grinding wheel, deburrs or polishes parts using portable grinder, chipping hammer, buffer, deburring tool or hand pick.
- Mounts part on revolving spindle or chuck and holds or moves tools such as file, abrasive stone or cloth against work piece to file, grind, polish or buff surface.
- Cleans interior surfaces of holes using reamer, changes tools on powered equipment.
- Follows all safety procedures for the area, does end of shift housekeeping to maintain clean and safe area.
Masters Machine Company – Part time Packer/Shipper Position
The Packer & Shipper provides support to our operation team by working safely, inspecting finished products for defects, and packing them in correct configuration.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect finished products, place products in automated parts cleaning machine as necessary.
- Enter products into computer system.
- Weigh and pack products according to customer specifications.
- Keep area clean and orderly.
